Charles T. Doyle LEADS Program

Hitchcock ISD and the Charles T. Doyle LEADS Program

The Charles T. Doyle Leadership Education and Development Series (LEADS) is an inspiring initiative that empowers future leaders in our community. This program was the vision of former Texas City Mayor and Texas First Bank Founder, Chuck Doyle. Established in partnership with the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce Leadership Mainland in 2004, LEADS has been fully supported through generous pledges from Texas First Bank, ensuring its success and growth over the years.

LEADS provides an exceptional leadership training experience for select junior and senior high school students. While the program initially served Texas City ISD, it has since expanded to include Hitchcock ISD, as well as students from Galveston, Dickinson, Santa Fe school districts, and O’Connell Preparatory.

At Hitchcock ISD, we are proud to participate in this transformative program that connects students with the local business community to foster leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. The LEADS program hosts one-day leadership events each fall and spring, offering students the opportunity to learn, grow, and prepare for their futures.

Students must apply and meet the program's qualifications to attend these events. For more information or to get involved as a volunteer, please contact us. Together, we are cultivating the next generation of leaders who will make a difference in our community.
