We’re gearing up for an exciting week of Homecoming festivities, and we invite the entire community to be a part of the celebration! Hitchcock High School’s Homecoming 2024 will take place from October 7th to October 11th, culminating in the big game against Hallettsville on Friday, October 11th. Mark your calendars and get ready for a week full of spirit, tradition, and Bulldog pride!
As we approach the new school year, we want to emphasize the critical importance of regular attendance. At Hitchcock ISD, we believe that consistent attendance is key to a student's academic success and overall growth. Did you know that missing just two days a month can lead to over a year of lost instruction by the time a student graduates? This year, we are committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed by strictly enforcing state attendance laws across all campuses.
Hitchcock Bulldogs' standout athlete Kelshaun Johnson is set to reveal his college commitment on Monday, July 8th at 4:15 PM in the Hitchcock High School gymnasium. Kelshaun, one of our many talented players, has drawn the attention of top-tier programs including UT, Texas A&M, Arkansas, USC, and Texas Tech, receiving 24 offers to date.

Hitchcock Independent School District (HISD) proudly celebrated the exceptional achievements of the Class of 2024 at the Senior Awards and Recognition Night held at College of the Mainland on May 21st. The evening highlighted the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our seniors, while showcasing the incredibly generous hearts of our community and community members.
The PAWS Patrol Parade serves as a testament to the collaborative efforts between the HISD Education Foundation, local businesses, and individuals, aimed at fostering innovation and educational excellence within our district. Through the dedicated contributions of HISD Education Foundation and its community partners, a total of $74,729.78 in grants were successfully allocated to HISD campuses this year.
